Autodesk recently announced upcoming changes that will affect your maintenance plan—and a special offer to move to subscription that you may want to consider. We are here to help you understand, so please contact us to discuss the best options for your company.
RENEW PERPETUAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACT
If your contract expires before August 2nd, you can renew your Perpetual Maintenance contract before May 5th and avoid a 5% price increase. In this scenario, you can effectively delay converting your Perpetual licenses to Subscription licenses until next year.
SWITCH TO ANNUAL OR 3-YEAR SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL
Beginning in June, Perpetual Maintenance license renewal will cost the same as a Subscription license. A Subscription license requires an annual renewal, but if you switch now to a 3-year Subscription, you will lock in your price for the next three years. The price for Perpetual Maintenance will increase 10% in 2018 and an additional 20% in 2019, making this a costly choice.
TAKE ADVANTAGE OF INDUSTRY COLLECTIONS WITH SUBSCRIPTION
Currently your Perpetual software licenses are specific to one software title and cannot be changed. When you move to a Subscription license you can change your licenses to an industry collection. See more information in the FAQ.
If you want to lock in rates with a 3-year subscription, you will need to act fast. Contact us today for more information.
